Homeschool-Friendly Collection

We are a Certified Homeschool-Friendly Library. Our staff have been trained by an experienced homeschooling coach to better understand:

  • The nature of home-based learning in Canada
  • The types of services that support learning at home
  • Common programs and curriculums used by homeschoolers
  • How our resources can be best used for learning at home

Services for Homeschoolers

  • Free Wifi, computer access, and scanning to email
  • Reduced printing costs for homeschoolers (10 cents/pg) available by sending requests via our online form
  • InterLibrary Loan Service: Access items from libraries across Ontario through the INFOntario website.

Events for Homeschoolers

Enjoy special events just for homeschoolers: parent meet-ups, curriculum swaps, science fairs and more. We keep homeschooling families in the loop through our monthly Learning at Home eNewsletter and explore upcoming events on our Events page.
